Who, What and Why?

Alternative Dating Sites officially started in the Summer of 2003. However, the concept started much earlier.

The journey actually began about seven years ago, when the Internet was in it�s "fuzzy stage". You know what we mean. Everyone wanted to get online, but no one really had a clue as to the medium's potential. That�s about the time Internet chat became all the craze. But, the problem with chat, was you never really knew if you were talking to a 12-year old boy or girl or a 60-year old man or woman. Not for us!

We realized at the time that there had to be some way that singles could interact ethically on the Internet. Flash forward seven years, and the Internet dating scene is just what we had imagined. You can now "virtually" see, hear and speak to potential dates. It�s what the Internet at it�s most basic is all about. Connectivity.

So, that is why this site was born. To help you navigate through all the Internet junk to find the gems in the rough so to speak. We are a group of internet marketing pioneers who believe that finding your soulmate online can happen as long as you have the right guide. We hope to be that guide....
